What does your day look like?

As Business Controller you are a key member of the Property Finance Team and will report directly to the finance manager, with whom you will work closely together on a daily basis. Your main objectives are:

- You play an active role in the improvement of the internal processes and systems;

- You have in-depth knowledge of our existing and future IT (finance related) applications;

- You will be part of the project teams and be responsible for the follow-up of multiple finance (IT) projects;

- You will provide effective service and advice (principle/procedural compliance, service delivery, corrective actions, quality assurance, facilitate decision making, …)

- You are responsible for the financial overview of the real estate portfolio under management;

- You are responsible for design and implementation of KPI set and performance evaluation tools to better understand the operational performance of the Company;

- You will identify opportunities for improvement and drive towards excellence;

- You will be responsible for the financial reporting towards clients.

The ideal candidate profile:

You hold a Master’s degree;

- You are Fluent in Dutch and English and a knowledge of French is a plus;

- You have at least 2-3 years of experience in controlling and/or business analysis;

- You have an excellent critical mindset and analytical skills;

- You are able to cope with deadlines and have strong priority management skills;

- You have the ability to independently set-up, manage and drive clearly defined projects;

- You are KPI oriented

- You have strong MS office skills and are tech-curious, experience with BI tools and artificial intelligence is a plus;

- You are a real team-player, you are pro-active and assertive, you take initiatives

- You have the ability to work and communicate with people at all levels;

- You have a positive attitude, hands-on approach and solutions oriented mind.
